Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups kheer( thick) , 10 motichur ladoos , 1tbsp butter , 1 packet good day biscuits.


  • Ingredients for kheer- 1 liter milk , 1/2 cup gobindabhog rice/ basmati rice , 1tbsp sugar , 1 pinch saffron, as needed dry fruits( cashews, almonds, cherries for garnishing).

Directions

  • To make kheer in a thick bottom pan pour the milk & bring it to a boil.
  • Then add the rice ( soaked & cleaned by water) & reduce the milk on a low flame till it thickens up & remains 1/4 of the original quantity .
  • Keep stirring ,add sugar & cardamom powder & mix well.
  • When the desire quantity reaches & rice soften , switch off the flame & let it cool.
  • For assemble- Prepare the base- Crush the biscuits to a fine powder. Put the powdered biscuits in a mixing bowl ,add room temperature butter & mix it well .
  • Take short glasses & press the mixture over in the short glasses.
  • Crush a motichur ladoo & press it tightly with a spoon.
  • Pour a layer of kheer on it & tap it once so that it's all settled.
  • Top it with a ladoo.
  • Garnish it with saffron, cashew & cherry.
